Devious Maids stars Dania Ramirez, Judy Reyes, Roselyn Sanchez, Edy Ganem and Ana Ortiz stun on the May cover of Latina magazine. Before the show was a success there was criticism that the show highlighted negative stereotypes about Latinas. Roselyn tells the mag “I didn’t regret taking the role even after the criticism. We just held hands and said, ‘Girls, let’s just keep moving forward.'” Show creator Eva Longoria also thought the hate was out of line adding, “I would never do a disservice to my community, I was super confident going around the country and the world saying, “You’ve got to watch the show. It’s a groundbreaking opportunity for the Hispanic community and it’s really good.”
