Actor and director Diego Luna is bringing the story of Cesar Chavez to the big screen. The film is called Chavez, and it is based on the life of the civil rights activist. Michael Pena will portray Cesar, who advocated non-violent campaigns for better working conditions of farm workers. Cesar co-founded the National Farm Workers Association along with Dolores Huerta. Starring alongside Michael Pena in the film is America Ferrera and Rosario Dawson. The film hits theaters in the Spring of 2014.
